Terms of service
The terms on which the destinationready.ai service is made available to you.
Last updated 30 June 2026.
1. The contracting party and service provider
The destinationready.ai service (the “Service”) is provided by Global DMO Services, a limited liability company registered in Finland under business ID (Y-tunnus) 3139669-3, with its registered address at Torikatu 16, 90100 Oulu, Finland (“destinationready.ai”, “we”, “us”). Global DMO Services is the contracting party for these terms and the provider of the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service comprises the destinationready.ai website, the AIRETT readiness diagnostic, the curated AI tools directory, and the member community and its resources (including templates, prompts, the DMO Knowledge Exchange, the AI in Tourism blog and a member-area AI assistant). The Service provides information, frameworks and tools to help destination management organisations adopt artificial intelligence responsibly. It is provided for professional and informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial or compliance advice.
3. Membership and eligibility
Membership is open to destination marketing and management organisations, national tourism organisations, convention bureaus and business events organisations. Member areas of the Service require an active membership and approved access. Access credentials and seats are personal to the member organisation and the named individuals to whom they are issued, and must be kept confidential. We may grant, decline, suspend or withdraw access at our discretion, including where these terms are breached.
4. Fees, payment and renewal
destinationready.ai is currently provided as a free pilot. During the pilot phase there are no fees, no payment details are required, and there is no automatic conversion to a paid plan. Pilot members retain free access for one year if the platform introduces paid membership. If paid membership is introduced in future, the applicable fees and payment terms will be published in advance and this section updated accordingly; continued use after any such change will be subject to the terms then in force.
5. Member contributions
Members may submit content to the Service, including prompts, tools, templates, use cases and posts in the Member Exchange. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the right to share it, that it does not infringe the rights of others, and that it does not contain confidential or personal data you are not entitled to disclose. By submitting content you grant Global DMO Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, adapt and display that content within the Service for the benefit of other members. We may review, moderate, decline or remove submitted content at our discretion.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse it, including not attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the Service, or use it to infringe the rights of others. The curated directory references third-party tools that are operated by their respective providers under their own terms; destinationready.ai is independent and vendor-neutral and does not endorse or warrant any third-party tool.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the AIRETT framework, text, design and software, is owned by or licensed to Global DMO Services and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use outputs you generate (such as your AIRETT report) for your own organisation’s purposes.
8. AI features, disclaimers and liability
The AIRETT diagnostic, the member-area AI assistant and other AI-supported features produce informational outputs that may contain errors or omissions and should be reviewed by you before you rely on them; AIRETT does not constitute a legal compliance audit. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Finnish law.
9. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy notice and applicable data-protection law, including the EU GDPR.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Finnish courts, as set out in our legal notice.
12. Contact
